Herdsmen in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have started transferring livestock to spring pastures as it's getting warmer. This is a seasonal practice in China's northern regions, where livestock are transferred for rotational grazing. The practice allows grasslands to recover, thus effectively preserving natural resources.
