Known to integrate art, science, technology, and innovation, teamLab's immersive museum "Massless" in Beijing has been chosen as one of the first batch of 42 immersive smart tourism experience spaces to be under focused development efforts.

The announcement was recently made by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In Beijing, the art space teamLab Massless has been hosting a series of noteworthy events.

In August 2023, the immersive music concert "Once Dream of Massless" debuted there, seamlessly blending traditional music with contemporary digital art. In a towering 11-meter-high, over 10,000-square-meter 3D space, audiences were taken on a magical journey.

In 2019, teamLab made its debut in China, collaborating with a local company Alight to create the large-scale art museum teamLab Borderless Shanghai. The 6,600-square-meter space has been packed with crowds. According to Wang Dong, General Manager of Alight, since its opening, teamLab Borderless Shanghai welcomed nearly 1.4 million visitors in about two years.
