In early spring, a million heads of livestock migrate from winter to spring pastures in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region's Hejing County. About 530,000 of them take a traditional route.
The routes are complex, spanning nearly 100 kilometers across icy peaks and snowy plains. They even need to conquer a mountain pass 3,400 meters above sea level, amidst snow and wind.
