China will host Davis Cup Finals group stage matches for the first time in September, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) said on Thursday.

The Hengqin International Tennis Center in Zhuhai, south China's Guangdong Province, will stage one of the four groups, while the other three will be held in Manchester, Valencia and Bologna from September 10 to 15, the ITF said.

The Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy, and the Pabellon Fuente de San Luis in Valencia, Spain, will host the group stage of the competition for a third consecutive year.

The AO Arena in Manchester, Britain, will host the event for the second year in a row.
