The common wish to build a peaceful, free and prosperous future connects the people of the Republic of the Congo and China and contributes to the two countries' close ties, said Denis Sassou Nguesso, president of the Central African nation.
China and the Republic of the Congo marked the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations in February. In an interview with China Media Group (CMG), Sassou Nguesso said the people of his country and China both long for development, and China has achieved remarkable results in this regard.
