This year marks the Year of the Loong, the Chinese dragon. More than 130 cultural relics excavated in Shanxi relating to the loong are being exhibited in the Shanxi Archaeological Museum in Taiyuan, the capital city of north China's Shanxi Province. The exhibits hail from different time periods spanning from around 4,000 years ago to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
