Picture this: The year is 2023, and it's a red-letter day for American workers. Over 453,000 of them are standing up, signs in hand. From the buzz of the city streets to the quiet surroundings of hotel lobbies, workers from all walks of life are striking out. All these reflect deepening income inequality and workers' disputes in the U.S.

Well, "thanks to" Fed policies and global conflicts, spiking inflation has heavily squeezed workers' incomes. But, the rich are still cashing in, and the wealth gap widens. The strikes are a direct response to the structural flaws in America's financially-focused economy. Politicians talk sweet, but then high-five the high rollers.

Ever seen a badge crack? Well, that's Uncle Sam's rep these days. We see financial elites' interests dominate, despite labor's growing unrest. In the shadow of giants, the workers' hopes fade, as dollars rule and fairness turns out to be just a charade.
