The Hong Kong Palace Museum's (HKPM) first thematic exhibition opened to the public on Friday. Nearly 100 exhibits are being showcased in five sections: metalware; painting and calligraphy; furniture; religious art; and ceramics, dating from the Neolithic Period (which began in China around 10,000 B.C.) to the 21st century.
The HKPM, built in cooperation between the Palace Museum in Beijing and the Hong Kong West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, opened on July 2, 2022. The exhibition will be on public view until March 31, 2025.
