South Korean civic groups organized a protest on Monday morning in Seoul, South Korea, to condemn the U.S.-led "Summit for Democracy" for spreading "false democracy." The protesters, who are mostly representatives from the country's civic groups, took turns delivering speeches and held placards reading "opposing the U.S. hegemony." They also condemned the U.S. for conducting Cold War-style diplomacy and pushing international relations toward confrontation.
