Recently, photography enthusiasts in Hunchun, northeast China's Jilin Province captured rare footage of over 1,000 white-naped cranes, a national level-one protected species, at Jingxin Wetland.

In the footage, white-naped cranes were seen foraging on the lake shore or on the ground, strolling on the ice, and soaring high in the sky.

Jingxin Wetland in Hunchun, Jilin is one of the most important rest stops on the East Asia-Australia Migratory Flyway, where millions of migrating birds stop and replenish annually.
