Bangladesh's first sea-land integrated super-large oil storage and transportation system has been put into commercial operation with the delivery of oil through the China-built dual-channel single-point mooring (SPM) system. The shipment of 30,000 tonnes of crude oil and 40,000 tonnes of diesel arrived at the Eastern Refinery, Bangladesh's sole refinery, marking a significant milestone in the country's energy sector.
