Located on the Gingko Avenue of the Old Summer Palace or Yuanmingyuan, the Yuanmingyuan Royal Merchant Street spans an area of nearly 2,300 square meters, employing light and shadow technology to recreate the bustling scene of the "Garden of Gardens" from over a century ago. This innovative cultural and tourism project was inspired by the historical merchant streets. Nearly 30 specialty shops offer a diverse range of experiences, including traditional Beijing cuisine, local delicacies, cultural and creative goods, as well as light and shadow experiential spaces, providing visitors with an immersive, multi-sensory experience encompassing visual, auditory, tactile, and gustatory delights.
