"The mass line (of the CPC) is a bridge, connecting the methodology of the Party and the people's support. It is only because of the mass line of the CPC. The Party has always treated the demand and wishes of Chinese people as its goal," said Pan Wei, the chair professor at Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Macau and the director of the Institute of Global and Public Affairs at the third International Forum on Democracy: The Shared Human Values on Wednesday.
