"In the last three decades, we have also been unable to reform the international organizations that make up the system of global governance," said former Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva in his video speech at the third International Forum on Democracy: The Shared Human Values on Wednesday. "We don't have an effective or democratic system of global governance," he added, highlighting some of the deficiencies that he thinks require urgent fixing.
