Gang violence in Haiti continues to escalate as two upscale neighborhoods in capital Port-au-Prince were attacked early Monday morning in a rampage that left at least a dozen people dead. The Haitian government extended the nighttime curfew to March 20.
How are the residents coping with the violence and chaos? A resident of Port-au-Prince recounted his experience over the past three weeks. He said schools and hospitals can't function due to the attacks, and residents are facing a severe gas shortage. "There is no day passed without hearing heavy guns shooting," he said.
