The Silk Road Cities Alliance and the Beijing Belt and Road Cooperative Community organized the annual Sino-Latino Friendship Tree Planting event in Beijing on Wednesday to show China and Latin America's common vision and determination for protecting the environment and addressing climate change.

Speaking about the event, Argentine Ambassador to China Marcelo Gabriel Suarez Salvia said, "It's a joy to be at this event where we plant trees as a testament to our commitment to the environment and the friendship we all have with China and its people."
