As the temperatures rise in spring, the Hunhe River in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province has seen its ice melt away and welcomed large groups of migratory birds including gulls. After a brief stay for rest and forage, they will continue their journey to their breeding spot.

Adding vividness to the river, the birds have been attracting visitors to see their "performances" over water.
