Explosions sounded in cities across Ukraine on Friday morning as Russia launched a fresh missile attack, local media reported.
Blasts were heard in Ukraine's southern city of Zaporizhzhia, the eastern city of Kharkiv and the central city of Dnipro during the air alert prompted by the attack, the government-run Ukrinform news agency said.
The mayor of Ukraine's Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov said on Telegram that about 15 explosions were heard in the area and that Russian missile strikes appeared to be targeting the city's power supply, causing partial blackouts.
Terekhov did not report any casualties.
There has been no response from Russia yet.
