China is ready to strengthen high-level exchanges with Vietnam and deepen communication on the experience of governing the two parties and the two countries, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Wang Yi said on Friday in Beijing.
He made the remarks when meeting with a delegation led by Le Hoai Trung, secretary of the Secretariat and chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said the two sides should promote cooperation in various fields to jointly build a China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
Trung said the Vietnamese side is ready to promote cooperation and push for greater development of bilateral ties.
