Six batches of Chinese medical teams have offered earnest assistance to Dominica with much-needed medical aid and services to local people.

The number of patients being treated accounts for approximately one-third of Dominica's total population. Dominica has a land area of 751 square kilometers with a total population of 74,000, and its medical resources are very limited.

The China-Dominica Friendship Hospital, constructed with Chinese assistance, is located in the capital city of Roseau.
