Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday called for solid efforts to further energize the central region at a higher starting point.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks while chairing a symposium on further energizing the central region in the new era.
