Chinese divers won two golds in the second leg of the World Aquatics Diving World Cup series in Berlin on Saturday. Chen Yiwen topped the podium in the women's 3m springboard and Lian Junjie was victorious in the men's 10m platform.
Two-time champion Chen collected a winning score of 356.40 points, followed by Maddison Keeney of Australia, who accomplished a dive of 3.4-degree difficulty to put herself 17 points ahead of third-placed Sarah Bacon of the U.S.

Despite her win, Chen was not satisfied with her performance. "The World Cup series takes place shortly after the World Championships and I've been a bit tired. I had many competitions but don't have enough time to review my performances," she said.
In the men's 10m platform, Lian led after each round and broke the 500-point barrier to win the title, scoring at least 90 points on each of his last four dives. Rylan Wiens of Canada took silver, and world champion Cassiel Rousseau of Australia took bronze.
"I did a really good job today and I'm pretty happy about the scores," said the 23-year-old. "I hope to earn the chance to compete in both individual and synchro events at the Paris Olympics."
Chinese divers are registered in only five events in Berlin. Triple world champion Wang Zongyuan goes into Sunday's men's 3m springboard final after leading the preliminaries, and teenage prodigy Quan Hongchan, who won her first Olympic gold medal at age 14, attempts to bag yet another gold from the women's 10m platform final.
This season's World Cup series is composed of two legs in Montreal and Berlin, and will draw its curtain when the Super Final takes place in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, from April 19 to 21.
