China's Haiji-2 deepwater jacket slid into the sea from a launch barge in south China, marking progress towards completing a record-breaking project that will advance the country's deep-sea oil and gas equipment development.
The installation of the 338.5-meter jacket, which began on Sunday in the Pearl River Mouth Basin sea area, is expected to be completed within approximately three days.
