Thousands of enthusiastic spectators lined the streets for the 2024 Macao International Parade. The parade featured about 1,800 performers in over 80 groups from Macao, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and overseas, according to a local government handout. Among the foreign ensembles were groups from Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Togo, France, Spain, Norway, the United Kingdom and Italy. This year's parade was part of the events commemorating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of China's Macao Special Administrative Region.
