Wuzhi Mountain, also known as Five-finger Mountain, is the highest in Hainan Province, towering 1,840 meters above the center of the island. The peaks of the mountain are in a saw-tooth pattern, and the shape resembles five fingers, which is how Wuzhi Mountain got its name. The area surrounding the mountain is mainly inhabited by the Li ethnic group.
