Nauruan President David Adeang landed in China on the afternoon of March 24 for a six-day state visit. The visit is the first by the Nauruan president since the resumption of diplomatic relations with China in January. CGTN asked Nauruans about their impressions on China and their ideas about cooperation between China and Nauru.
Rose, a Nauruan student, said that she hopes to see China and Nauru promote economic and cultural exchanges. Another resident said she looked forward to cooperation between the two countries in areas such as tourism and environmental protection to jointly address global challenges.
