A series of volcanic hot springs are nestled within the rugged terrain of Changbai Mountain in northeast China. Despite the sub-zero environment in winter, these geothermal wonders produce mountains of steam and bubbling hot water. Covering a 1,000-square-meter area, they generate temperatures soaring as high as 80 degrees Celsius.
