The Israeli military has "eliminated" the head of manpower in Hamas' military wing, Ra'ad Thabat, during the ongoing operation at the al Shifa hospital in Gaza, according to a post on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) X account.
There was no immediate response from Hamas.
Thabat was said to be among Hamas' top 10 senior commanders.
