Luo Shen, the goddess of the Luo River in central China, is presented as a graceful, elegant and beautiful image in the prose-poem "Luo Shen Fu" written by ancient poet Cao Zhi during the Three Kingdoms (220-280) period. Cao described his romantic encounter with the river deity in his verses. Inspired by the literary work, Chinese designers have made a collection of clothing which were showcased by models at the autumn/winter 2024 (AW24) China Fashion Week in Beijing. The event lasts till this Sunday.
