In this ancient scripture-printing house at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, traditional printing techniques have been passed down for over 500 years. The monks print every scripture page by page. However, such intricate craftsmanship meant quantity was limited and the scriptures were often in short supply. To address the issue, Tashi Lhunpo Monastery built a modern scripture-printing house. Here, texts are printed more efficiently using modern printing technology to better meet the needs of the monks and other worshippers.
