Scientific research teams in north China's Tianjin Municipality are stepping up efforts to enhance the conservation and research of oriental white storks, a migratory bird species under first-class national protection in the country. "Tiantian," an oriental white stork born in Tianjin in 2022, is currently being tracked by satellite technology. Aside from using satellite tracking, the research team collected excrement and feathers for studies in order to better protect and research these birds.
