Since the outbreak of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, China has been calling for a ceasefire, striving for the restoration of peace and preservation of life, said Wang Kejian, ambassador of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an exclusive interview with CGTN. Wang also said that China will continue to work with the international community to restore peace, save lives, uphold justice and seek a permanent solution to the Palestinian issue based on resolutions of the two sides and those of the United Nations.
