The Israel Defense Forces said on Saturday that it did not strike a car belonging to UNIFIL, the UN peacekeeper mission in southern Lebanon, in the area of Rmeish.
The remark came after media reports that an Israeli air strike hit a UNIFIL military vehicle in the morning, leaving several injured.
Reuters, citing two security sources, reported that the car carried three UN technical observers and one Lebanese translator.
However, there was no immediate comment from UNIFIL or from the UN.
