Polls opened on Sunday for Türkiye's local elections which will elect new mayors and other office-holders in 81 provinces and their districts.
Polling stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the eastern provinces and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the rest of the country.
