As the weather turns warmer, a remarkable sight unfolds at Dongping Lake. A grand assembly of over 3,000 wild cormorants is enchanting both locals and visitors. Like soldiers, the birds perch on man-made structures that punctuate the lake's surface. Situated on the East Asian-Australasian flyway, Dongping Lake is a sanctuary for migratory birds.
