Türkiye’s Republican People's Party (CHP) won 35 mayoralties, and Justice and Development Party (AK) won 24 mayoralties in the local elections in Türkiye, the country’s Supreme Election Board chief Ahmet Yener announced on Monday.
According to preliminary results, the participation rate in the local election was 78.11 percent, Ahmet Yener added.
