Tehran says it will retaliate after seven of its military advisers, including three senior commanders, were killed in Syria's capital Damascus after Israel bombed Iran's embassy on Monday. James M. Dorsey, adjunct senior fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, says that Iranian retaliation will come from its allies but not Iran itself, and likely on U.S. bases and Israeli diplomatic facilities.
