With "Insight into the Global Coffee Industry" as its central theme, this year's "Coffee Together" carnival began at the Shanghai International Media Port on Tuesday. Representatives from key coffee-producing countries such as Brazil, Malaysia, Mexico, and Indonesia, also graced the event.

Chen Yongqing, Director of the Shanghai Central Bureau of China Media Group, spoke at the launching ceremony, pointing out that Shanghai boasts the highest number of coffee shops globally, with over 8,500 establishments as of 2023. The "Coffee Together" carnival aims to leverage the city's advantage as well as social media platforms to facilitate international reach, serving as a bridge for communication and cultural exchange in the coffee industry both domestically in China and further afield.
At the opening festival on April 2 in Shanghai, the 2024 "Coffee Together" carnival features many distinctive coffee stands. /CMG
This year, the Shanghai World Coffee Culture Festival will continue to collaborate with the "Coffee Together" carnival to drive consumption upgrades across the city. Additionally, at the launching ceremony, a coffee market was organized to showcase brands and products from a diverse range of countries and cultures.
