Analyst: Israel hopes to downplay impact of Gaza aid workers' deaths

On April 1, seven employees from the World Central Kitchen were killed in an Israeli air strike on a food aid delivery operation in northern Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted Tuesday that the death of aid workers was "unintentional," adding that "it happens in war." Wang Jin, an associate professor at the Institute of Middle East Studies at Northwest University in Xi'an, says that Israel hopes to downplay the negative impact of aid workers' deaths.
