A modern agriculture park on the outskirts of Gaoping City in north China's Shanxi Province is busy cultivating seedlings of vegetables. Farmers are working to fill the cultivation plates with solid substrate, sow the seeds and then put the plates onto the automatic cultivation machines. An automatic irrigation system has been developed to provide water and nutrient solution to the root parts of the seedlings, which is very efficient and cost-saving.
