New energy capacity of N China's Inner Mongolia tops 100 GW

Inner Mongolia has become China's first provincial-level region to have a total installed capacity of new energy topping 100 gigawatts. The region is expected to generate about 230 terawatt-hours of green electricity annually, helping save 70 million tonnes of standard coal. The region also plans to add 40 gigawatts to its installed new energy capacity this year.
