South Koreans hold tearful farewell for beloved panda

00:16

Saying "Goodbye Fu Bao," and "I'll miss you" amid rainfall, thousands of South Koreans crowded Everland Resort and its zoo in Yongin to bid farewell to giant panda Fu Bao on a gloomy day. Fu Bao, the first naturally born panda in South Korea is scheduled to leave on April 3 and is expected to land in Sichuan Province, southwest China on the same day. She was born in July 2020 to Le Bao and Ai Bao, the pandas leased by China for 15 years in March 2016. A South Korean giant panda caretaker and a Chinese veterinarian will accompany her on the flight.
