Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke with U.S. President Joe Biden at the request of the latter. In Tuesday's phone call, Xi told Biden that China-U.S. ties are stabilizing as officials from both sides act on the leaders' agreements reached at their San Francisco meeting last November. Biden also hailed the progress in bilateral ties since November.
