A total of 52 people are missing and 93 others remain trapped after multiple earthquakes shook Hualien County in China's Taiwan region, local emergency authorities said on Thursday.
The earthquake that rocked Taiwan on Wednesday was followed by hundreds of aftershocks, and has killed nine people and injured 1,038 others.
