Haiti extends state of emergency in Ouest Department for another month

The Haitian government on Wednesday extended the state of emergency in Ouest Department, where the national capital Port-au-Prince is located, for a period of one month until May 3, local media reported.

The government has also renewed the curfew for a period of one week until April 10, the report said.
