Several military headquarters were attacked by a terrorist group in the Iranian cities of Rask and Chabahar in the Sistan and Baluchestan province on Wednesday, Iranian state media reported on Thursday.
The death toll of the security personnel killed has risen to 11 in the attacks, which took place around 10 p.m., according to Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency.
Sardar Mohammad Pakpour, commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps ground forces, said 16 terrorists were killed.
Iran has blamed the attacks on Jaish al-Zulm, which is a separatist cell that Iran says is linked with Al-Qaeda.
