The Forbidden City and the Palace of Versailles exhibition opened on April 1 at the Forbidden City's Palace Museum in Beijing.
This exhibition highlights the exchanges between China and France in the 17th and 18th centuries, and displays around 200 collections including paintings, clocks, scientific instruments, porcelain and other cultural relics from the two countries.
Follow Guo Fuxiang, the Chinese curator for the exhibition, as he unveils the relationship between the Chinese Kangxi Emperor and Louis XIV of France.
