Folk culture performances were staged by locals in Chongzhou City in Sichuan Province, southwest China, in hope of a bumper harvest and prosperity during the Qingming Festival holiday. During the festival, locals paraded with rabbit lanterns in the ancient town after sunset to pray for good luck. Rabbits are considered auspicious by the local people in Chongzhou.
