This Tomb-Sweeping Day, a ceremony was held to worship the Yellow Emperor, or Huangdi, a revered Chinese ancestor, at Qiaoshan Mountain in Yan'an City. One of the highlights of Thursday's event was the participation of former Kuomintang chairman Ma Ying-jeou, who led a group of students from Taiwan.
