Former Kuomintang chairman Ma Ying-jeou landed in Shenzhen on Monday afternoon, kicking off his 11-day ancestral and culture exchange journey with 20 students from Taiwan. Their first destination, Guangdong Province provided them a glimpse of the country's blend of rich history and rapid economic advancements while also nurturing friendships among youth from both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
